Container spreaders are used for loading, unloading and transporting containers, and can be used with cranes such as STS (Ship-to-shore crane), RTG (Rubber tired gantry crane), Rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMG), Overhead crane and Portal crane.

Since the spreader constantly collides with containers and ship cabins during the operation, the failure of the spreader occupies a major position among all the overall failures of the container crane.

Although the mechanisms on the spreader were already operating at high efficiency, the crane driver wanted to go even faster.

Therefore, the spreader bears the brunt of the entire loading and unloading process, and faults are more likely to be exposed. Only when a crane is equipped with a container spreader with stable performance and reliable quality can the crane’s operating efficiency be greatly improved.
