2. Services Provided
SilverGum Skills provides community education and technology training. Our services are designed to enhance digital literacy and confidence, particularly for seniors and those new to technology. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from our training. Our services are for educational purposes only and should not be considered professional financial, medical, or legal advice.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering for courses or services.
- Use our services for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of our site.
- Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials and be responsible for all activities under your account.
- Respect the instructors and fellow participants during workshops and one-on-one sessions. Disruptive or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Be solely responsible for ensuring that your equipment, software, and internet connection are suitable for participation in online courses.
4. Payments and Refunds
Details regarding payment for workshops, courses, or one-on-one coaching will be provided at the time of booking. All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel a booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility will depend on the timing of your cancellation relative to the start date of the service.
- Refunds: Specific refund policies for individual services will be detailed at the point of purchase or booking. Generally, significant notice is required for full refunds. We reserve the right to offer credit for future services in lieu of a refund.
- Service Changes: SilverGum Skills reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops or sessions due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrolment. In such cases, affected participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided on our site and during our services, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of SilverGum Skills or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
